CAREWorks is a ministry of caring and practical
help that reaches out to people in need
or those in financial crisis both in our
church body and in our community.
CAREWorks operates the Vneyard Resource
Center located on Pottle Street in Kingston.
The hours of operation are Tuesdays and
Thursdays from 10:00am-1:00pm or by appointment.
CAREWorks provides:
Emergency Food Assistance
Clothing and Household Goods
Emergency Financial Assistance (when available)
Referrals for Social Services
CARE Works is also responsible for our
annual Christmas Blessing, an evening where
the sanctaury is transformed into a shopping
mall where parents in need can come and
pick out toys, clothing and other gifts
for their children. |

Help Wanted:

heart to reach out to
the poor and those in need.
We are always looking for men and women
with genuine compassion and a vision
to reach out to the poor.
Resource Center Volunteers
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am-1:00pm at the Vineyard Resource Center to
stock our warehouse and minister to clients that come for assistance.
Food Pantry Stockers
Usually the second wednesday of each month to help stock the food pantry.
Christmas Blessing Volunteers
Christmas Blessings is a community outreach that helps parents provide Christmas
gifts for their children. this is usually held the second friday in December.
Needs:
Clothing -in season, in good condition and in current style (not more that 3
yrs old). Towels, sheets and bedspreads-New toys, games, clothing, household
items )anything new) to be used for the Christmas Blessing outreach.
