What is…healing journey?
Can you, or someone you
know, answer "yes" to
any of the following questions:
Do you feel alone or lonely?
Are you looking for real
friends?
Does something or someone
have a strong hold on your
life that leaves you feeling
trapped or even depressed?
Are you preoccupied with
something or someone in
a way that dominates your
life but never really satisfies?
Do all your efforts to
overcome problems in your
life leave you exhausted
and ready to give up?
Do painful memories make
you afraid to let others
know the real you? Do you
use food, drugs, money,
sex, etc., to numb pain?
Then healing journey may
be the resource you are
looking for! The purpose
of the healing journey
program is to experience
and extend God's truth,
love, and power utilizing
the 12 steps from Alcoholics
Anonymous as our "stepping
stones."
The road
to recovery is truly a
journey. One day at a time,
one step at a time, we
grow and experience genuine
life rather than tolerable
existence. And we do it
together, in community,
not in isolation, fear,
or shame. Here at healing
journey we seek to extend
hope and healing to men
and women.
