Our
Goal is...
To see every person
in our church community,
from teens to adults, make
a commitment in life to God
and others through ongoing
learning. Relationship with
Jesus is a journey of learning.
We never arrive until we
are finally transformed at
His coming or our going.
We offer a variety of classes
to help you grow in your
relationship with God and
others.
Sometimes these classes are run as single day, conference-style workshops (called "GETMO" days
-for "Get-More" of God) several times a year. Other classes may take
place over 1,3,5 or even 8 sessions held during second service. We offer a
variety of classes that appeal to a range of interests. so there's something
for everyone! (See a partial list below and keep an eye out for announcements
about the start of new classes.)
Two
classes we'd like to call
your attention to...
Discovering
Authentic Membership
V101-
With Don Andreson
This class answers some questions like. "What is this church about?" What
are Vineyard Values?" "Where have we come from and where are we going?" "What
does it mean to be a member of this community?" Our goal is to help you
understand what it means to become part of the Vineyard and to help you say "yes" to
belonging here (or, "Not Yet" or "No"). To help you connect
better. learn some practical steps to take so that in the next two, four or
six months you'll feel like yo belong to this team of awesome people. Our goal
also is to is to share the expectations we have as a church body of each "member",
and what kind of commitments you can count on from the leadership of this church.
This is a THREE SESSION class and includes presentations, handouts and discussion.
How
to Pray for Others-
With Nancy Andreson
tLearn the Vineyard model of prayer. Our goal is to help you become equipped
to pry for those who need emotional and physical healing, deliverance form
demonic oppression and for the daily provisions we all face. This will give
you a better understanding our values in praying for others as wella s a practical
model for praying for. The class format is teaching followed by practice. It
is exciting to experience teh Holy Spirit's love and power through prayer.
This class is required for
those in Leadership at the
Vineyard, or if you desire
to pray on our ministry team,
or for thos eplanning on
participating in an IAM Prayer/Ministry
Tour to Spain. This is a
TWO SESSION class and requires
you to listen to Steve Robbins
first session of the "Healing
Conference" prior to
class.
